Question: Why did you quit offering restaurant/fast food delivery, as well as grocery delivery?
Answer: Well, we found that for the labor and mileage that we put into the deliveries, we were not making enough revenue to continue offering the service. It wasn't realistic to ask people to pay what would have been double what fees have been in the past. So when our permit came up for renewal, we decided not to renew. However, this does not affect our ability to continue to provide transportation for caterers who need assistance moving supplies around.
Question: What types of payment do you accept?
Answer: All major credit cards, and cash. Business checks only on approval. No personal checks accepted.
Question: How far in advance do I need to call to arrange a time?
Answer: The more time, the better. At least an hour in advance. If the errand(s) require more than an hour, please schedule a 2 hr window to which I can drop these things off.
Question: Why can't you just take me to do things myself?
Answer: Because my licensing is not the same as a cab, and only covers property, not people. Sorry.
Question: Why don't you take personal checks?
Answer: Due to problems with NSF checks, I can't afford to take them. While they represent a small amount, it would be enough to force regular rate increases to cover them.
Question: Why are business accounts more expensive than regular services?
Answer: Because the services provided are not immediately paid for, and so the extra charge is a convenience fee for monthly billing. Also, the hours provided are longer for more availability and convenience.
